About the class

You don’t need to wet your pants while working out.

In fact, the words “Mommy” and “Bootcamp” do not belong in the same sentence until your body has fully recovered from giving birth. Carrie’s course is bursting with expertly designed Pilates exercises that will increase in difficulty each week. You’ll gradually challenge your core more and more, and by the end of the program, you will be ready to safely transition to a community-based Pilates class or resume your favorite exercise programs.

This is a class that EVERY woman should take after giving birth and I’m so glad I found it!

Course Details

The Postnatal Pilates Online Course will help your body recover from the birth of your baby, whether you are six weeks postpartum or one year postpartum. Using expert exercised, Carrie will guide you to safely awaken your deep abdominals and pelvic floor. You will strengthen your body from the inside in order to prevent common postpartum injuries and get you back to your pre-pregnancy fitness level – or better!


Each week features a lesson focused on safely rebuilding your core, including:

  • How to Care For a Baby Without Spraining Your Spine
  • Let’s Talk About Sex (after) Baby
  • Return of Menses and Birth Control Options

Begin to safely and systematically engage your core in a way that respects the miracle your body has just performed. Exercises increase in difficulty each week until you are safely performing a full Pilates sequence by Week 6 and ready to continue on your own or transition to your favorite form of exercise.

Postnatal Pilates Student


Each class ends with breathing and relaxation training. You will experience a different guided meditation each week that can be used throughout your pregnancy and during your actual labor.

Unique to only Pilates by Carrie students, this meditation series has been created just for pregnant women. The goal is to guide you to find your inner peace and strength as you prepare for childbirth!

Meditations include:

  • Prenatal Fear Release
  • Prenatal Birth Affirmations

These guided meditations will enhance your sense of calm, strength, balance, and well-being.
